Adding a Banner

Banners appear in the showcase area of the home page in the order of the list. Each banner has a title, a button and an image, and optionally a display window.

New banner

1. On the Institutional content → Banners screen, press New banner.
2. On the Türkçe (Turkish) tab, fill in Title. Optionally enter Subtitle and Button text.
3. To show text on the English site too, fill in the English tab.
4. In Link, enter the address the button leads to.
5. Upload the image in Image.
6. To show the banner for a limited time, enter the From and To times under Display window.
7. To put the banner online, switch on Live.
8. Press Save.

A new banner goes to the end of the list. Change its position by dragging its handle or with the arrows.

Taking a banner offline and deleting it

• Take offline removes the banner from the home page and keeps it in the list. Go live switches it back on.
• Delete asks for a reason and moves the banner to the Deleted list. A restored banner comes back switched off. Switch it on again to show it on the site.

While you are signed in, you see the change on the home page at once. Visitors who are not signed in see it up to 30 seconds later.

Only people with the publish permission can use the Live switch and switch banners on and off. The parts of the screen are described in Banners.
