Release notes

What is new in the platform, newest first.

Version 1.4

  • View and download counts on publication pages; “Most read” lists on the home page and journal pages; a “Most read” sort in publication lists.
  • Early view: accepted articles can be published in a journal before they are placed in an issue, and are listed in their own section on the journal page.
  • A new “Calls” page: journals' calls for papers and other calls, by deadline; journal pages show the journal's announcements and open calls.
  • Advanced search: several conditions with AND / OR / NOT, searching in abstracts and a year range.
  • Sign in with ORCID: people whose ORCID iD is set in the system can sign in with ORCID instead of a password; administrators can switch it on or off.

Version 1.3

  • With the journal's consent, the published issues and articles of journals managed on DergiPark can be copied into the catalogue and refreshed weekly; the article pages name DergiPark as the original.
  • Editors-in-chief can download the referee dossier for TR Dizin as a single PDF.
  • An ODİS package for issues: full-issue PDF, article PDFs, a data sheet and referee dossiers in one file; issues can be marked as uploaded to ODİS, with reminders for those that are not.
  • Reviewer rule warnings on the editor screen: too few reviewers, reviewers from the same institution, disagreeing recommendations.
  • Journals can list the reviewers who agreed to be named on a yearly “Our reviewers” page.
  • Optional TR Dizin data: journals' TR Dizin records, articles' TR Dizin citation counts and authors' TR Dizin profiles.

Version 1.2

  • Journals managed on DergiPark can be set up: their “Submit” button opens the DergiPark submission page, and the journal page links to the DergiPark archive and writing rules.
  • Richer journal pages: frequency and publication months, languages, contact details, former titles and boards grouped by role (with institution, city and country).
  • Journals can publish their policies on their own page: peer review, open access, copyright, ethics for authors, reviewers and editors, use of AI tools and publication fees.
  • Article pages show the revision date, a citation line and the declarations at the end (ethics approval, conflicts of interest, funding, author contributions, use of AI tools).
  • A TR Dizin readiness checklist and article data checks for journal editors.
  • Typesetters can copy the front-matter details of an article from the panel in one click.
  • Crossref deposits now include the articles' reference lists.

  • E-mail delivery (SMTP) can be set up from the administration panel, with a test e-mail.
