Roles

The permissions of each role, the parts of the panel it sees and the tasks it does most often.

The menus you see in the panel and the work you can do depend on your roles. Every account starts with the Registered researcher role. The system administrator grants the other roles. If a screen says "You do not have access to this page" and you need that access, contact your system administrator.

If you have more than one role, the page of each of your roles applies to you. The permission list on the role pages is generated from the system's own role definitions, so it always matches the installed version.
