The author cannot comment on the proof
Checking the sharing, the proof version and the status of the job when the author cannot see the proof or cannot comment on it.
The author sees the proof only after you share it, and can comment only while the job is open. Check the causes below.
The proof is not shared
If the row of the proof has no Shared with the author label, press Share with the author. A proof whose scan has not finished cannot be shared.
The new version is not shared
Sharing is separate for each proof version. If you uploaded a new proof version, share that version too.
The job is closed
After the job is released or cancelled, the author can no longer comment on proofs. If a correction is needed, reopen the job. The steps are in Cancelling and Reopening a Job.
The author does not see the team's comments
The author sees a comment from the team only if it was written on a shared proof with Visible to the author ticked.
