The licence list is missing in the release settings
What to do when the Release settings card shows a warning instead of the licence list, or the selected licence counts as invalid.
When the panel cannot load the licence list, the Release settings card shows the warning The licence list could not be loaded; reload the page and try again. instead of the list. If a licence was selected for the job before, its code is shown next to the warning.
- Reload the page.
- If the warning stays, tell your system administrator.
An open-access work cannot be released without a licence.
The selected licence counts as invalid
The list shows only the licences in use. If a licence that was selected for the job earlier has since been withdrawn from use, it stays in the list but counts as invalid on release, and the What blocks the release list says that the selected licence was not found. Select another licence from the list and save.
