Copying the dates, authors, citation line, article type and declarations for the first page of an article in Turkish and English, and passing them to typesetting.

Permission needed
Manage production jobs and tasks

For articles, the job page has a Front matter card. The card prepares the details to be printed on the first page of the article, in Turkish and in English. It holds the following.

  • The title, the authors, their institutions and ORCID iDs, and the corresponding author
  • The article type
  • The received, revised and accepted dates
  • The citation line and the DOI, for example Abbreviation. 2026;12(1):15-22
  • The licence
  • The declarations on ethics committee approval, conflicts of interest, funding, author contributions and the use of artificial intelligence

Copying the front matter

  1. Open the job and scroll down to the Front matter card.
  2. Check the Missing for the front matter list and complete what is missing.
  3. Select the Türkçe (Turkish) or English tab.
  4. Press Copy and paste the text into the typesetting.

The card is refreshed every time the release settings are saved.

Missing items list

The Missing for the front matter list follows the first-page criteria of TR Dizin (the national citation index run by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM) and does not block the release. It can include the journal abbreviation, the issue, the page range or article number, the DOI, the ORCID iDs and institutions of the authors, the English title and the ethics committee statement.

The issue, page range, article number and DOI are entered on the Release settings card. The journal abbreviation is in the catalogue record of the journal. On release, the declarations and the revision date are also written to the catalogue record.
