Screens and settings
E-mail Templates
The rows, status labels and editing window of the screen that lists the Turkish and English templates of the e-mails the system sends.
The Administration → E-mail templates screen lists the template of every e-mail the system sends. Each template keeps its Turkish and English text separately. E-mails carry no confidential content, only a link to the panel.
List
Each row shows the template's name, code and Turkish subject. The search box searches the templates' names, codes and subjects. Next to the TR and EN labels on a row, the status of that language is shown.
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Default | The system's default text is in use. |
| Customised | The text was changed in this installation. |
| Sending off | No e-mail is sent in this language, and the in-panel notification continues. |
Editing window
The Edit button opens the Edit template window.
| Part | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Language tabs | Switch between the Turkish and English texts |
| Subject | The e-mail's subject, at most 300 characters |
| Text | Plain text, at most 20,000 characters |
| Send this e-mail | When off, no e-mail is sent for this event in this language |
| Variables | The variables you can use in the text |
| Preview | Shows the text with sample values when you press Preview |
| Reset to default | Appears only on a customised template and deletes the customisation |
If a variable of the default text is not used, the window says so with a warning. The steps are in Editing an E-mail Template.
Alert templates
The templates whose names start with "Operations alert" and "Security alert" create panel notifications for system administrators. If alert addresses are set in the site settings, the same text goes to these addresses by e-mail. No e-mail goes to the system administrators' own addresses. These alerts are explained in Operations Alerts.
